What makes Equinim different from other studios in Bromley?

At Equinim, we are not just home to Reformer Pilates but also Mat Pilates and Yoga. We are the only studio in Bromley that offers all three under in one studio. All of these disciplines are offered in a warm, welcoming space. Absolutely! Many of our members start as beginners. Most of our classes are open-level, and our instructors offer personalised guidance to match your pace and specific requirements. You’ll never feel left behind.

Just wear comfortable, breathable clothing. Mats, props, and Reformer equipment are provided. You will need grip socks if you are joining reformer classes. We have paper cups and a water dispenser but water bottles are also welcome!

Although we share a unit with Rhino, we have our own independent entrance on Elmfield Road. You will see our entrance right opposite Bromley Fitness Centre. Our address is Equinim, Elmfield Road, BR1 1TR –  just a short walk from Bromley South station.

Booking is quick and easy — simply choose your class on our online timetable. You will be prompted to make a profile via our booking app TeamUp. Follow the prompts here and at check out you can either choose from a Drop-in, 5 pack or monthly membership option.

We keep classes quite small so you get plenty of individual attention — 8 spaces for Reformer and 12 spaces for Yoga.

Absolutely! Combining both is the best way to improve core strength, mobility, and mind-body balance. We have a membership that mixes both disciplines and we are working on a clas pack that will give you access to both too.

That’s exactly why you should start! Our classes are designed to help you progress from your current level — no pressure, no judgement. One of our mottos is, “meet yourself where you’re at”. For us, this means taking how you feel each day into consideration and taking the practice as it comes. You will see benefits connected to your fitness, but most of all you will find more stillness and respite from the typically busy working week.
 

Speak to your instructor before class and get clearance from your GP or physio. Provided your doctor or physio is happy for you to take class, we can offer modifications to keep you moving safely.
